I originally designed the Multi-Forums system as a lot of people were asking me if I could host a forum for them on my web site. As more and more people wanted one, there were more and more forums on my web site. As time pasted new updates became available and everyone was again asking me to upgrade their forums for them.

So to combat the problem I looked at the code and came up with a solution that allowed me to host unlimited forums on just one installation of the forums software. This allowed me to host everyone forum and made it easy to update as it only running from one installation.
